Seriously. How can I not lurve that brain of mine?
Thanks to my clumsiness, I fed lappy with 100plus last week. So for the last 1 week, I could barely type. Many advised me to get a temporary keyboard, but no, since I do not have the extra cash. Even if I do, I would be saving up for a new desktop instead.
Out of nowhere, a weird thought clicked my mind awhile ago, "I think we have spare keyboard!", and spare keyboards we have. The best part? I found a wireless keyboard and mouse. So with my resourcefulness, I came up with yet another brilliant idea. "How about, I shift my table (with my laptop) to the front of my bed?"
So now I am happily using lappy at the comfort of lying on my bed, with a good keyboard and mouse, accompanied by my 3 monsters.
OMG OMG LURVE THIS SONG! SO SWEET! One of the greatest all time comedian, Steve Martins, wrote this song!
If I gave you pretty flowers If I took you out to dinner If we walked on by the river would you invite me in If I sat down on the sofa If I told you funny stories If I moved a little closed Would you put your hand in mine If I told you, you were lovely If I put my arm around you If I touched you on the shoulder Would you rest your head on mine If I took you out to dinner If I moved a little closer And I touched you on the shoulder, would you make love to me. Oh my darling, I have loved you since you took me out to dinner Since we walked down by the river Over 30 years ago When you told me that you loved me I hadn’t felt so lovely Since the day I decided that I would marry you
Well I took you out to dinner And I told you funny stories And I moved a little closer And you made love to me If I gave you pretty flowers If I took you out to dinner If we walked down by the river LA LA LA LA LA
Going Back to the corner where I first saw you Gonna camp in my sleeping bag I'm not gonna move Got some words on cardboard, got your picture in my hand saying, "if you see this girl can you tell her where I am"
Some try to hand me money, they don't understand I'm not broke I'm just a broken hearted man I know it makes no sense but what else can I do How can I move on when I'm still in love with you
Cause If one day you wake up and find your missing me and your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I could be Thinking maybe you'll come back here to the place that we'd meet And you'll see me waiting for you on our corner of the street So I'm not moving, I'm not moving
Policeman says, "son you can't stay here" I said, "there's someone I'm waiting for If it's a day, a month, a year" Gotta stand my ground even if it rains or snows If she changes her mind this is the first place she will go
Cause If one day you wake up and find your missing me and your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I could be Thinkin maybe you'll come back here to the place that we'd meet And you'll see me waiting for you on our corner of the street So I'm not moving, I'm not moving, I'm not moving, I'm not moving
People talk about the guy that's waiting on a girl There are no holes in his shoes but a big hole in his world
Maybe i'll get famous as the man who can't be moved Maybe you wont mean to but you'll see me on the news And you'll come running to the corner cause you'll know it's just for you Im the man who can't be moved
Chorus 2x
Going Back to the corner where I first saw you Gonna camp in my sleeping bag I'm not gonna move
I can take the rain on the roof of this empty house That don't bother me I can take a few tears now and then and just let ?em out
I'm not afraid to cry every once in a while even though Goin' on with you gone still upsets me There are days every now and again I pretend I'm okay But that's not what gets me
What hurts the most Was being so close And havin' so much to say And watchin' you walk away
And never knowin' What could've been And not seein' that lovin' you Is what I was tryin' to do
It's hard to deal with the pain of losin' you everywhere I go But I'm doin' it It's hard to force that smile when I see our old friends and I'm alone Still harder gettin' up, gettin' dressed, livin' with this regret But I know if I could do it over I would trade, give away all the words that I saved in my heart That I left unspoken
What hurts the most Is being so close And havin' so much to say (Much to say) And watchin' you walk away
And never knowin' What could've been And not seein' that lovin' you Is what I was tryin' to do, oh Oh yeah
What hurts the most Was being so close And havin' so much to say (To say) And watchin' you walk away
And never knowin' What could've been And not seein' that lovin' you Is what I was tryin' to do
Not seein' that lovin' you That's what I was trying to do, ooo
Woke up with a shout, heartbeat racing, almost in tears.
One was nothing more than just a horror movie, with super power and devils. Another, was my reality check, a reality wake-up call. Reflected the truth that I have been escaping from.
A huge chunk of biasness aside, Alonso is my driver of the Spanish Grand Prix.
I was pretty disappointed to know that Alonso was the lightest of the top 10 after qualify. It was probably yet another attempt to score a good position with a light-fuel strategy to give his Spanish fans something to cheer about. Yet with that, he only managed P8 in the final rounds of qualifying. Renault have improved as compared to the first race of the season, but not much, and definitely not enough. This just goes to show the poor performance of the car.
Just when it seemed like what will be a tough race for him, he actually managed a 5th (with a little bit of luck), right behind the dominating Brawn GP and Red Bull contender.
For a mundane racetrack (the Catalunya circuit is tough on over-taking), Alonso actually managed to inject some life and action to it. He took the opportunity after the safety car went out, and battled Mark Webber for 5th position, though eventually losing out to the latter. Then it was greeting his old time teammate-cum-rival, Lewis Hamilton, with what almost seemed like a nudge, just as he exited the pit lane. With a bit of luck (and bad luck to Massa), he charged up to Massa till the final lap with a 16s gap and went outside of him, taking 5th place in style.
My hero aside, Mark Webber come up with a quiet and surprise 3rd. It totally caught me off-guard, and the next thing I know, he was up on 3rd. Good call on the early first pit, and running a longer second stint I must say.
What can Massa and Kimi do? It must be really frustrating to finally have a car with good pace, and yet face ridiculous problems. Wrong call (again) in qualifying, the car breaking down just after a few laps and not enough fuel to run till the end of the race? After what seemed like a promising start, Ferrari have left the fans in yet another disappointing week. Although Massa did well in the race to grab that 3rd spot from Vettel at the start of the race, hanging on throughout the race, and not giving up till the last minute of the race.
Great strategy call from Button too. It was exciting to watch the Brawn playing strategy games for their drivers for top position.
Side note: I got pretty annoyed with some of the post-race reports. Then again, I should have been all too familiar that not every reports are 100% accurate. The Renaults did not have KERS on their car, and will probably not for the next few races. Those reports need to get their facts right and stop saying that Alonso attempted on Webber using KERS. Tssk. Media nowadays. We should know better.
All in all, this race had been one of the more exciting race yet.
Salmon is one of the yummiest food in the world, be it raw or cooked. Surprising, Long John's grilled salmon is yummy too, though oily.
Munching it while waiting for Spain GP to start. ALONSO'S HOME RACE! Sadly, I doubt there will be any podium hope this time round. Still hoping to see some Alonso magic at turn 1!
I will definitely make a trip to Barcelona for the Spain GP! Hopefully in 2 years time.. hurhurhur.. Alonso FTW!
I just found out something unbelievably amazing that totally caught me off-guard. I was like, "ARE YOU SERIOUS? IT ACTUALLY EXIST AND MEAN SOMETHING!" Sadly, I am unable to share this new-found excitement with anyone else, having them to understand the whole story behind it. -Shrugs-
...the melody of MJ tiles ...the aroma of alcohol ...the ecstatic feeling from getting high ...the dancing in clubbing ...the enjoyment in badminton ...the money earned from work ...the laid-back life of doing nothing much ...the fun with my friends ...her giggly old self ...the scent
I was complaining about Wade Wilson's screen time after watching Wolverine. It was too short for such a cool (and cute) character! Was discussing with Kernie about how cool it will be if he gets a movie. So this was what I found out today...
Ryan Reynolds will be starring in his very own X-Men spinoff movie for his character Deadpool, whom he played in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
According to Variety, Deadpool is Wade Wilson, a mercenary who, dying of cancer, submits himself to the Weapon X genetic alteration experiment and emerges as an indestructible semi-sane anti-hero.
In one of the two “Easter egg” endings for Wolverine, Deadpool is seen rising from the rubble and whispering “Shhh” to audiences. (The other ending has Wolverine drinking to remember rather than to forget.)
YAY! :D I hope there will be more of "Wade Wilson" than deadpool though. :S
PS. Wolverine was an average movie. No 'wow' factor. Da sao & I was giggling & laughing throughout the movie. Wade & Gambit were the cooler characters. DUh~
