Finally decided an English name after what-seemed-like-ages for myself.
Too many people having trouble remembering and pronouncing (especially) my chinese name.
I will totally need an English name once I start working.


For people who have known me as Shu Yin or dotdot or dotdotger since eons ago, you can stick with whatever you feel like calling.

I hope my boss wont get to see this post of mine. She will probably kill me. haha.

Ok. So I did fake MC today. But I did went to the doctor though, for some problems with my stomach that has been bugging me for the past 3 weeks or so.
(Boss.. If you see this, I'm sorry!)

Spent my afternoon trying to figure out my Samsung Omnia (bought it on 15th Aug!). Didn't had the chance to really check out the functions and stuff. I think I might need another week or so before I master the phone. haha. But I'm beginning to get use to it and loving it.

Went to Waraku @ Marina Square for dinner with ST, Lay & Eunice. Girls talk. I felt a lil weird though. Probably cause I was the topic of the night and I haven't had girls outing like this since god knows when. I will try to get use to it. hehe. Thanks girls, especially ST, for bringing the girly side of me back. :D

The highlight of today's program was the fireworks. (Singapore Fireworks Celebrations 2008) WD & LK joined us before the fireworks started and the fireworks was great! It might not have been the best, but fireworks never fail to awe me no matter how many times I watch it live in air.

Of course.. This year's fireworks is a little bit special than before.. hehe..

Thank gawd I have a bunch of crazy temp colleagues at work. They are the reasons why I am still surviving and helped me pass the mundane working days. I'm gonna miss you guys when I leave. Well, one good thing is that we are all studying in the same school! Haha!


Dinner @ Cafe Cartel in PS with Cindy, Sarah, XinYi, Sean & Leonard today was hilarious. Eating & laughing ourselves silly throughout the 1.5 hours at stupid & crazy jokes/stuff.

Everyday, the war continues without the slightest hint of an end. Exhausting as it may be, both sides somehow love the intensity of the battle with each attack. Neither sides were gaining an edge, nor losing it.

For almost ten months since the battle begun, and still counting, both sides fighting even fiercer than when it started.

It wasn't a war over territories or possessions, but simply a battle of the Angel & the Devil. It was the one war that plays so vividly in our mind that can almost drives us insane.


But what was the point of debating anyway?

We only live this once.
Who cares about what MIGHT happen? What matters is now.
We will never know the future, until the future dawn upon us.
So why do we even calculate the possibilities? Life itself is a gamble anyways.

A lil recap of yet another lovely weekend. Appreciating weekends more these days. Though I will probably revert back to the nua lifestyle after I stop working. haha.

Friday
Sick day. Plus the nasi padang I had for lunch was the killer and made me felt worse throughout the entire day. Feverish, sore throat, headache, body ache. Worse of all, it was eve of National Day (not as if I play a part in the parade, but who has the mood to work on the eve of public holiday?), and I just didn't felt like working.

So I was just slowly (very) doing my stuff and chit chat with my colleagues throughout the day. Just wasn't in the mood to work. haha.

Caught Journey to the centre of the Earth later that night. Too bad there was only the 1st row seats left in Cathay. Don't really like GV's seats. Small and uncomfy. Cathay's the best. I can sit in any way I like. whahaha. The movie was not bad. Entertaining enough.

Saturday
Kor's & Lay's birthday celebration @ Gav's house.
KTV-ed & MJ-ed. Funny day especially during MJ when ST & I were being random annoying Eunice & WD like crazy. Then WD annoyed us by playing super, duper slowly. Damn annoying yet funny as hell. hahaha.

National Day parade isn't nice anymore. The only best part was probably The Dark Knight. smeh.

Sunday
Nua day. Just a nua day to myself at home & I lurve it.


Weee. 2 more days to weekend. My weekend is starting on Friday for this week. whaha.

Suddenly I was told to go out for dinner. I was told, not asked.

I said I didnt want to celebrate.
I simply don't see a point in celebrating.

Birthday celebrations are suppose to celebrate for being happy.

Apparently, I am not. Not at all.

I really don't feel like going for dinner and receiving all the "Happy Birthday's" from them and faking a smile to them, when I don't even feel happy with my life.


Why can't she just get it.

The moment I learned that family ties can be broken so easily, I no longer believe in anything.

And she was the one who showed me how.

Sucks.

Not that I don't believe in this kind of things. Just that I wasn't brought up to let it become my faith. So I pray only when I am asked to.
So this being one of my few prayers, and probably one of the few serious times when I really prayed from the bottom of my heart.

Yay! Woke up at 540am and I'm feeling good now! I have no idea when was the last time woke up this early.. Probably eons ago.. Oh wells.. I can only wake up this early cause I slept at 7pm last night.. Had a pretty bad Monday since I only slept 1 hour (before going to work.. Got so sucked into my book until I didn't realise it was 6am.. Starting the day with a slight diarrhea was bad.. and going to work was worse.. Had a really bad flu and headache, probably due to the lack of sleep.. So I decided to ditch work and Jap classes and went home at 430pm..

There are so many stuff about the last weekend I hopeI will be able to finish this post by 7am before I start preparing for work..

I'm lurving my weekends these days.. My precious, precious weekends.. haha.. I'm out at least 6 days a week and most of the time, 7.. Feeling pretty satisfied about the crazy schedule, which is definitely so much fulfilling than slacking 7 days a week at home..

Saturday was the usual MJ day.. I think I am a hopeless MJ addict.. Rounding up the usual KAs every week.. Quitting isnt an option for me.. Just lurve the feeling of making the tiles, especially the crazy ones! hahaha.. But I was feeling fiercely sleepy Thanks to the lack of sleep since I was up all night reading my book, again.. (Suddenly, I'm into reading and turning into a bookworm..)
SODA GREEN, SODA GREEN, SODA SODA GREEN GREEN!
The best part of the day was Soda Green's concert! Thanks to Khoon's dad who had the free VIP tix (2nd row!!! :D) and Khoon who gave me the tix, I had a blast of a time throughout that concert! Weide, Lay, KY went along and we had a pretty good time.. Their live performance are AMAZING AND VERY TOUCHING that I even teared when they sang a very sad song.. I lurve this concert due to the fact that it is the kind with lesser fancy stuff, and concentrated on the singing & interaction part instead.. They had everyone so hyped up (Lay & I was standing on the chairs! :D) during the 1 hour encore that we didn't want to leave.. Well, ignoring the fact that it was 1130pm.. haha..

The great tube outing day on Sunday!
Despite feeling worn out with a pile of Japanese notes to study & clothes to iron, I decided to join in ST's impromtu tube outing! She suggested "Dress outing" initially but I was like "Nooooooooo......." and suggested tube instead.. hehe.. Been a long, long time since I did such girly thing..

We met at Raffles City soup spoon for, erm, lunch-cum-dinnner and went shopping & snacking around.. My mind weren't processing that day, and ST was being her random usual self.. So we had lotsa funny little stuff that day.. Like how I ended up saying "Honey milk tea" when meant "Honey malt crunch".. We even tried gowns in Daniel Yam and decided to get our dresses there the next time any one in the gang is getting married.. hehe.. The greatest buy of the day would have to be ST's adidas jacket! It's black & yellow, and it's VERY PRETTY!

So we ended the day sitting in TCC chatting away talking about lotsa stuff.. hehe..

I woke up at 1:50am THINKING THAT IT WAS 9AM. To be exact, I actually STARTLED OUT OF MY BED for some weird reason. My handphone clock stared 1:50am at me and I still thought I was dreaming even after sms-ing KHOON (LEMON!) a few rounds. I even asked myself a few times, "Am I dreaming?".

Apparently KHOON HAVE TIXS FOR SINGFEST! And he is FEELING SOUR (LEMON!) for the fact that HE WILL BE IN INDONESIA AND NOT BE ABLE TO GO FOR SUNDAY'S SINGFEST! Which sucks a lot since MOST OF THE BIGGEST NAMES WILL BE PERFORMING ON SUNDAY!


AND I DIDN'T DARE TO ASK HIM "THE QUESTION".
For fear that I might sink into the depths of depression (which I did, or rather, am now) along with him! He knew me too well to know what my burning question was and gave me THAT DARN ANSWER JUST WHEN I DECIDED NOT TO ASK! Thank gawk I managed to come up with another possibility that made me felt better - JUST A LITTLE BIT.


So now after waking up in shock, coming online in a dreamy state, getting all excited about the hoo-haa, and being depress for everything, I suddenly remembered why I slept so early.


I WAS, AND AM STILL FEELING SICK.
I had my 3rd diarrhea for the week (I probably asked for it since I happily decided to go for the spicy HotPot dinner with my colleagues after the 1st, and stubbornly refused to see the doc after the 2nd) and my stomach feels queasy.


Now I'm still feeling sick, but too high to sleep. Not especially when my mind is telling me that I have had 9 hours of sleep! ARGH!
