Wanted to blog about this on Monday but I was out for the entire day after sleeping for 3 hours only.
So I found a job and there ends my bumming-cum-zombie days!

At: OUB Centre (No, it's not typo.)
Time: 9am - 630pm
Duration: 2/7/08 - 12/9/08
I slept at 6am on Monday and got a call from my agent (Recruit Express) at 9am telling me that she got me a job as Temp Admin in UOB.
Thus, start the crazy & tiring Monday.
Reached the office in Raffles Place slightly before noon and she briefed me about my job. (By the way, she is a super nice person.. and pretty! hehe..) Short session and I was out of there by noon. Considering that I have limited choice of office wear (from head to toe), I had to do last minute shopping since I am starting work on Wednesday. (Yes, tomorrow. I'm seriously praying that I can wake up on time.) So I went to G2000 in OUB centre and I was greeted with lunch crowd. With the lack of sleep and lunch, I was pretty irritated with the crowd and queue. Especially when I have to try almost every piece there. After hanging around for 2 hours in the shop, I only ended up with 3 tops. (Grrr..) The bottoms were pretty much out of stock after the mad lunch crowd so I decided to buy them at Northpoint today.
The next HUGE problem - shoes. Apparently my addidas shoe is way off from "casual office wear", and the next best shoe that I have is the converse canvas shoe. So I had to get a new one and this felt like a major headache task. After meeting my parents and surveying in Raffles City, Bugis Junction & OG, I finally found this white-with-silvery-gold-lines covered shoe and it is darn pretty! (I'm totally into Black, White, Gold & Silver this year. hehe..)
Had my favorite katong laksa right outside OG after my victorious shoe hunt and went to SIM LIM. Sucky time cause my mum bought a ram from a con shop and my dad was pulling a long, black face.
Anyways, went for my Japanese class and manage to stay super awake throughout the class. Probably due to the super cold air-con and the fun & engaging sensei & classmates. Hehe. The Sensei is great. I'm beginning to recognize Hiragana at a faster speed and I feel darn good about it. :D
Well. Gonna prepare my stuff for tomorrow! (I think I said that 2 hours ago and I'm still seated in front of my computer now.. haha..) Hope that the job experience at UOB would be great. I'm actually a lil worried about meeting bad supervisors & co-workers since we are talking about Raffles Place here - the hectic and crazy work place. Had been fortunate enough to meet very nice co-workers all these while so I pray the same for this one!
